Meet the Dentists

Dr. Benjamin Crusan has been practicing advanced restorative and esthetic dentistry for the past 24 years. He loves his profession and the satisfaction that comes from making smiles healthier and brighter.

After Practicing in Sequim Washington for 9 years, Dr. Crusan brought his family to Clark County and shortly thereafter opened Mountain View Dental in Ridgefield, Washington. With great attention to detail, he chose a wonderful location and built a beautiful modern state-of-the-art dental practice.

It has been an amazing experience serving this outstanding area. We appreciate the trust and support of our wonderful surrounding communities. We will continue with our commitment to provide the best in compassionate dental care.

Dr. Benjamin Crusan was born at the University of Washington Hospital. As a child, he was a patient at the UW dental school and he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Washington in 1997. He is definitely a Husky!

Through his passionate commitment to continuing professional education, Dr. Crusan stays on the leading edge of dental technology. Dr. Crusan spends many hours in continuing dental education every year going far beyond the regulated requirements. Dr. Crusan is part of the Spears dental excellence continuum in Scottsdale Az. He regularly travels around the country to take part in advanced dental training.

Dr. Crusan and his family love living in the Northwest and enjoy all it has to offer. In his free time, Dr. Crusan loves to be outside. He enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, and spending time with his wife Kristi and their four boys Trevor, Preston, Garrett, and Nathan, and daughter Julia.

Dr. Tracy Trieu was born and raised in the Portland Metro Area. She attended Oregon State University where she received her Bachelors of Science. During this time she completed an externship in Ecuador where she immersed and diversified herself culturally and learned a third language. Afterward, she ventured back home to Oregon and completed her dental education at OHSU School of Dentistry, and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.

Dr. Trieu is passionate about providing excellent comprehensive dental care for all of her patients. She is committed to providing the best quality of care possible in order to improve oral health and spread smiles.

Dr. Monica Hwang received her BS at University of Maryland on a full scholarship and attended University of Sydney School of Medicine for a year before deciding to pursue dentistry. She earned her DDS from University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2016 and graduated in the top 20th in her class. She completed a yearlong clerkship in implant prosthodontics focusing on esthetic dentistry. Dr. Hwang advanced her practice during residency and served our veterans at the VA of Northern California with advanced training in oral surgery.

Dr. Hwang left the east coast for the beautiful PNW and hasn’t looked back. She has a passion for helping underserved communities and goes on international
dental mission trips. At Mountain View Dental, she looks forward to serving every patient and developing lasting relationships built on trust. She believes it is an honor and privilege to help people feel good about their smiles and to treat them as if they were her own family. 

She loves to work with her hands whether it be dentistry or in her spare time: she enjoys throwing on a pottery wheel and she also is a classically trained pianist. She speaks conversational Mandarin Chinese and enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband and poodle.
